I absolutely recommend Mamallena hostel! It is directly on the beach, a real Colombian village vibe, the hostel has a well equipped kitchen and the staff is friendly and helpful. It's a small unspoiled fishing village so don't expect anything beyond basic shops and restaurants and just relax watching Caribbean sunsets. If you want some quiet time for a few days in a remote but accessible place, this is the place to go!

Hostel mamallena at rincon del mar is good for the soul.. sun, sea, sand and because it's still not on the top of everyone's lists, so much serenity! you'll sleep a deep and restorative sleep.

I enjoyed my days at Mamallena Rincon el Mar a lot. The location is perfect: right at a beach in a charming and calm fishing village within a short distance to those beautiful San Bernado islands. You have everything you need to relax and let your soul dangle. And of course the hostel would be nothing without Arturos energy. He's the perfect host, reading wishes of your eyes, cooking dinner and organising your trips. It actually felt more like staying in a friends home than staying in a hostel. So definitely recommended if your looking for a place with a warm atmosphere.

Mamallena in Ricon Del Mar is the best place to chill and relax. With the location right on the beach, the view every morning is great. And the few island close to are gorgeous. Arturo is the best, sweetest host ever. He always here for advices, drinks, cards game and tchat. Makes you feel at home. We stayed for one week with no any regret, gracias para todo !!!

Great hostel with friendly and helpful staff. Loved the vibe. I'll definitely stay there again.
