Cafeteria Susy - Ciutadella de Menorca

Lovely busy place with a fun beach vibe and right on Macarella beach. My review is specifically for gluten free there are 2 dedicated gf menus here for the bar and restaurant and the waiters are very good. Don’t bring a picnic like we did enjoy the extensive offerings!

Rude and arrogant staff. There is no basic knowledge of typical Spanish food or drinks. They responds with a silly laugh to customers' questions. Some of them treats tourists like idiots who are only supposed to spend money. I do not recommend.

Great pit stop as you hike the sea cliffs of Minorca! Ice cold beers and scrumpy Minorca potatoes bravas with sauce , don’t miss this place it’s a delight :

They put all sorts of typical european meals like Hamburgers, Pizza and stuff on the menue, however i'd say you should only pit on things you can cook on the card, which they clearly didn't. The pommes tasted like the frying-oil was a few months old, not salten at all. They only have microwaves, no oven, the pizza tasted accordingly. (They used a tortilla as bread and forgot to put tomato sauce on it). The hamburger was the most bland one i've ever had, it didn't even have any sauce in it. But at least you could eat it, which wasn't the case for the other things. To be fair, the typical spanish meals were good to okay, however as i said before if they only can cook spanish meals they should only put spanish meals on the menue. (Also the garlic bread was disgusting, but i attribute that to the lack of ovens) It was very noisy in there, and the service was mediocre at best. Overall, avoid this place as much as possible, if you decide to go anyways, only order spanish meals.

Cafe Susy is a welcome sight after a strenuous cliff top walk from Cala Galdana. They serve ice cold pints and tasty burgers and fries. There is a varied menu and a good selection of drinks and snacks. Very helpful staff and nice clean toilets. Definitely worth a visit for a refreshment at reasonable prices.
