Peach Park - Clanton

As always, great place to stop on way home from vacation or way to a vacation. However, as with a lot of places, they need an upgrade in customer service. Did not enjoy the experience with the young lady serving/selling ice cream with the Chilton County High sweatshirt yesterday. We were giving our order and when asking for samples, she did not speak or smile the whole time. When we asked for different sized portions, she gave us the same portion each time without talking and a scowl. When you are serving others, you are the face of the business despite anything else going on in your life.

We were here 4 weeks ago. Have stopped here more than once on our way home and typically enjoy it a lot. This time was different because every where we tried to sit and relax and eat our ice cream, the garbage cans were stinking. I don’t know if they had not had enough staff working that day to empty them or if the trash cans needed to be washed or what it was. I am sensitive to smells and my husband isn’t but he felt the same way that day. Our ice cream was good but we hurried our visit up and finished our treats and didn’t stay long this time.

Great place to stop with kids on a long drive. Great ice cream and places to play, walk around, etc. Dog friendly outside as well so you can walk them and what not.

Always a must stop! Playground, fresh pies, ice cream and sooo much more

Went for the peach cobbler and it didn't disappoint. Been years since I had it so I was looking forward to it. Added their vanilla ice cream and it was the perfect treat. Others in my group had the fried apple pie and they liked it too. It was busy but they moved everyone through the food line quickly. They had plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Neat outdoor market feel with a variety of fruits and veggies along with other things like baked goods and juices. There is a kids park, outdoor shady areas to sit and parking wasn't bad either. Worth the drive to Clanton.
