Only place in town open for a family to eat on budget. Mainly fried food, but it was tasty. Portions were a good size for the price. Service was nice, a young man was very nice (even with his short shorts). Would definitely eat here again if we ever came to this way.
Decent burgers, great onion rings, friendly casual atmosphere and welcoming staff. Looking forward to future visits.
Love this place been going since I was a kid great burgers nice prices still have jukeboxes on wall
I have noticed that every town I have lived in has a restaurant called Hitchin' Post. It seems that all of them have been family-owned establishments with the classic offering of burgers and fried foods. Hitchin' Post is no different, but they do stand out with their wide variety of Torani syrups that can be added to create a multitude of milkshake flavors. I have visited this restaurant at least twelve times, and the service is always friendly and quick. The food is cooked to order and served hot and fresh. The burgers may be on the smaller side, but ordering a double makes you feel like you are indulging in a large meal.
