We picked out a variety to try, and although the man working the booth told us what they were as he bagged them up we were left on our own to decipher them once home. It would have helped if the wrappers were marked in some way. Oh well, that's on us I suppose. Some of the tamales were very tasty and loaded with the good stuff. Others were more masa and very little of the good stuff, causing there to be minimal to no flavor. We were very disappointed in those ones we received. I have had better tamales, overall, for sure.Yes, I may buy from the Tamale Guy again if I have a hankering at the moment; and eat it there at the farmer's market, but not to take home for a planned meal. Overall I'd say the tamales were OK (3 stars), although they could've been better (2 stars).
Do not buy. We tried them at the farmers market and they taste nothing like tamales. Extra dry and not flavorful at all. Very disappointed especially for the price.
This restaurant had a representative at a farmers market in Murrieta earlier today. While I was at the market today, the man running their booth, was being creepy and inappropriate with a young worker at another booth who was obviously uncomfortable and disgusted with his actions. He made obscene motions towards her while talking to other booth workers and clearly was making sexual remarks about the young woman who's young enough looking to possibly be a minor. The man was on the shorter side with a mustache and possibly missing a tooth. Keep your kids away from him please
I wish this was in an easier location . I love the queso and chilli chilling!! Still after going to the local farmers market or the store front. This place just rocks. If it was by my house I would be broke breakfast, lunch. And dinner as well as snacks.. just saying a good place to eat!! Great people.
They used to be amazing!! Their vegan tamales were so delicious! Now it seems that they are never open anymore. We’ve called several times over the past couple months during business hours and the phone goes unanswered. Also stopped by several times and the door sign says closed and the lobby looks a mess. Thinking they may be permanently closed…or at least they soon will be if they keep on this path. Guess it’s time to find a new tamale supplier ?
