They could benefit from having a few more employees to help clear tables so the waitresses can keep up with the busy demands. Despite this, we truly enjoyed our meal, particularly the open face Turkey Sandwich. It was very satisfying, although we weren't fans of the stuffing that came with it, being unfamiliar with Newfoundland cuisine. A big shoutout to the fantastic waitresses for their excellent service.
We visited this lovely, tranquil restaurant with a beautiful view of Clarenville. It was the perfect spot to stop for a snack.
I visited this restaurant on December 02, 2016 with my wife. We arrived at 1:50 pm on our way from St. John's to Gander. We had planned to stop for a meal in Clarenville, but due to deteriorating road conditions, we decided to wait until then. Despite having had good meals at this restaurant before, we were disappointed by our recent experience. We waited for 20 minutes to be served, during which time the waitresses were busy cleaning tables and attending to other customers. Eventually, we decided to leave and go to Tim Horton's next door, where we received excellent service. It's unfortunate to see a once great restaurant fall short in comparison to a fast food franchise. This experience has made me understand why some people choose to support big franchise stores over local businesses.
It was frantically busy during our visit. But the food was delicious once it arrived after over an hour.
