Glen Eden Tavern - Clark

The Chickadee cabin itself was clean, bright, and free of clutter. The kitchen was well-equipped, allowing us to prepare all our meals with ease. The bathrooms were clean and stocked with high-quality towels, which was a lovely touch. The river is beautiful, and there are steps leading down to it, along with a path that takes you to the lower glen where weddings are often held. We particularly loved having a very comfortable king-sized bed, along with plenty of extra blankets and pillows. There are numerous hiking trails nearby, as well as three stunning lakes a short drive to the north and hot springs in Steamboat Springs. We also enjoyed visiting the nearby Clark Store. Overall, this was one of the most relaxing vacations we've had, and we travel quite frequently!

This venue was absolutely perfect for our wedding! We booked all the cabins and had a wonderful weekend filled with family and friends. The weather was just right, and both the wedding and reception locations were breathtaking. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to host an event with loved ones in a cozy setting instead of a hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, and we are so glad we chose to celebrate our marriage here.

Moreover, the cabin was not clean; I have pictures to prove it. Every time we tried to visit the office to request assistance, it was closed. In the summer, it's important to have windows open, but on Saturday at 9:30 am, someone was right outside our window doing yard work with a weed eater, which was quite disruptive.

The restaurant is situated in a stunning location by the river. Our cabin was comfortable and clean, positioned at the southern end, which made it peaceful, with only the soothing sounds of the river nearby. We had an amazing time here, and with so many activities in the vicinity, it felt like paradise for me. Overall, I would rate the rooms as 5 out of 5.

We have visited this place multiple times in recent years for ice fishing at Steamboat Lake State Park, and we absolutely love it. The cabins may not be luxurious, but they provide all the essentials and are always clean and tidy.
