Contribuisci feedbackI always see signs for this place on highway 295. So I decided to cave the other morning and stop by. It’s a small nice spot! Plenty of creative coffee options if you are into that. I got the regular drip coffee came in two options dark or light I got the dark. It was very tasty. I also picked up some beer while I was there. The barista/ bartender. She does both was very nice and helpful in helping me decide what to get. All the beers I got were delicious. I would definitely stop back again when in the area.
Death of the Fox is a great stop for any coffee enthusiast. I haven't tried the beer, though I know people who enjoy it, the coffee is delicious! I frequent once a week while my child is at class next door. The staff is always welcoming and quick to make their delicious coffee concoctions. They have different monthly latte flavors which are usually themed around holiday (i.e. March's flavors are Irish themed) they are creative and delicious!
I have been coming here since 2019 I love it. The coffees and lattes are excellent. My fiance loves the Creme Brulee latte. Everyone here is very friendly and attentive. We drive here all the way from Northeast Philadelphia it is worth it.
I say this having family and friends who work in craft breweries, but more importantly having had years of customer service experience at a Belgian beer garden in Philadelphia:This place has terrible customer service.I ordered a Ukrainian pilsner, but noticed that it may have been mistreated due to its atypical color (brown) and taste (fruity). After commenting that to the bartender, the immediate course of action was to bring in the owner. Upon telling him that I don 't know what the etiquette is for returning a drink, and hearing my disapproval in the taste, he told me that his partner spent time in Ukraine. That this dark lager, as he put it, was the way it tasted and looked for its region. I admitted that I 've never had a Ukrainian lager, but it still isn 't a typical pilsner. It should be a matter of giving the benefit of the doubt to one another, both merchant and patron; it 's either a simple case of mislabeling/misclassification on the beer menu, or my ignorance of a particular region 's take on a popular style of beer. But what got me was, first, the owner said verbatim: I 'm sorry you don 't like the style, and proceeded to smirk and stare at me. I didn 't expect another beer for free, but there seemed to be no more discussion. I slid my glass away from me, he left, and I was ignored by the bartenders for the remainder of my time there as I waited for my partner to finish her drink. Not once in that time period was I asked if I wanted another drink, or have a taste of perhaps another beer in a style I may like. In a word, none of the customer service etiquette you 'd normally find at your average restaurant/bar/brewery. It simply felt like a buyer beware situation, which can make one feel like they 're being taken advantage of. Oh, well.
This is one of my favorite places to meet for business and for pleasure!Death of the Fox Brewing Company is a very unique local business where they roast their own coffee and brew their own beer all from scratch. And they share both processes with whomever is interested! With its spacious layout of tables, comfy chairs, and coffee tables, this is a great place to meet up with a friend or a group of friends. And definitely a great space for business chats. Additionally, Death of Fox offers packages for business or private events. I’ve held one and it was a great night!Be sure to check out all their weekly events from open mic night to trivia night to other creative themed nights.I highly recommend Death of the Fox for coffee, tea, beer, hard seltzer, relaxed atmosphere, and friendly staff. Get some take out from your favorite restaurant (Cinder Bar is next door) and “beverage in”!
