Dixie Frosty Freeze - Clarkston

If your child asks for a soft serve cone, be cautious about letting them dip it. For some reason, their soft serve is not cold enough for dipping, causing it to melt quickly. When I started eating mine, it began to drip uncontrollably, and I had to eat it fast to avoid a big mess. I had to hold the cone carefully to keep ice cream from dripping onto my shoes. By the end, my hand was completely covered in melted ice cream. I was surprised because I've never experienced this issue at other ice cream shops. I couldn't help but think how messy it would be for a child trying to eat this, especially in a car, with the potential for spills on their shoes and clothes. Plus, there are no public restrooms available to clean up afterward.

Local Favorites is fantastic! The ice cream is delightful, and the service consistently comes with a smile. I'm really pleased that the new owners are taking such good care of this place. It's clean, family-friendly, and a lovely addition to Clarkston.

My fiancé really loves this place. The staff is always friendly, the prices are great, and the ice cream is excellent. We can't wait for them to open again this year!

Our popular place for ice and milkshakes. Children also love their hot dogs. I can't beat the prices. Very friendly service!

Frosty freeze was a wonderful delight. The staff was super friendly and quick to take our order and serve up our tasty treats. They use an unusually large diameter straw that makes drinking a milkshake super easy. Nice seating available with umbrellas provided great shade.
