However, the initial shock to my wallet was quickly forgotten after my first bite. My top two picks were the Shotsy and the Taco pizzas. The Shotsy pizza offers a freshness, depth of flavor, and substance that is rarely found in a slice of pizza. The toppings are perfectly balanced and piled high, with a crust that is just the right thickness to hold everything together without drooping, yet not so thick that it becomes overly bready. The crispiness of the crust, combined with the softness of the cheese, sauerkraut, tangy mustard sauce, and chunks of savory smoked Polish sausage, truly makes it a standout pizza. Well done, Fazzari's! As for the Taco pizza—everyone's favorite guilty pleasure from an old-school pizza joint—it’s loaded with lettuce, tomatoes, olives, and a sprinkle of thinly shredded Mexican blend cheese. While it has all the traditional elements you'd expect, there are key features that make it shine. The meat is hearty and wonderfully seasoned, with a hint of chili and cumin that lingers on the palate in the best way. The combination of textures and flavors creates a delightful symphony, with that crispy crust serving as the highlight. I know this won't be my last visit, but I sincerely hope it doesn't take me another 30 years to return!
The seafood fettuccine came with a clam sauce instead of Alfredo, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, it was acceptable, but it felt more like a pizza place than a true Italian restaurant.
There was ample seating for my large group, with family-style arrangements. The pizza was excellent!
This is a fun place! It has always been a regional favorite, all of my life! It can get pretty loud at their busy hour, but it is the best if you want to be with family and friends! You may wait a while IF you choose the busiest hour of the evening, however, but they bake your pizza’s in a reasonable amount of time. ?
Been a long time since I've eaten at an actual pizza parlor. That is, with the long tables and the parlor vibe. We had an excellent meal and I would heartily recommend this.
