And very large selection to choose from and if your not sure what your looking for the staff have lots of knowledge regarding the product and are very helpful and give good recommendations!
Relaxing indoors to smoke a nice cigar is the best way to enjoy a mans primitive past time of sitting and smokeing.
An inviting atmosphere with warm staff and an impressive selection, Up In Smoke Cigars is everything you 'd want from a brick morter cigar shop. Consisting of a humidor, entrance, covered porch, and lounge with beers on tap, it 's hard to recommend any other shop. Upon entering, you 're greeted by a bell signaling your arrival, and the smell of tobacco. Moments later, someone approaches you and greets you, whether they were in the lounge or behind the counter. Each member of staff is welcoming and genuine, ready to answer any questions or give any recommendations. If you spend any length of time here, you 'll find the staff quickly become friends, as customers who have found their cigars generally end up in the lounge, and staff with join them to enjoy their own smokes. The entrance is a small room with various accessories on display and for sale, and the west wall has quite an assortment of pipe tobaccos for those interested. There are various soft drinks behind the counter to go with your cigar, and various humidity packs for your personal humidor are sold at the counter as well. The action, though, is in the humidor. And let 's be honest, what 's where you go first after the initial greetings are over. Inside the humidor is an assortment of cigars, all on display with prices and indications of strength. Up in Smoke has all the brands aficionados will appreciate AJ Fernandez, Drew Estate, Oliva, Montecristo, etc. Staff are readily available to help you find whatever you 're looking for, as the humidor can be daunting at first glance. Thankfully, staff know where everything is. Simply tell them what you 're looking for, and they 'll find it, whether it be a particular cigar, brand, or taste. Prices range from $5 to $20 per stick, as can be expected. The lounge is the next stop. You 'll spend at least an hour here. There are TVs around the room, chairs and couches of various makes, beer taps at the bar, a secluded room for more intimate conversations, a bathroom, and a covered porch. If you 're like me, you 'll end up with your seat in a leather chair, cigar and drink in hand, enjoying conversation with the other patrons. The southern adage Never meet a stranger rings true here. Every customer I 've met chats with everyone else in a group, sitting around together enjoying their smokes. Everyone greets you, even when they don 't know who you are, and you can jump in at any point and feel a part of the group. They 're always ready to give advice to new smokers, and can recommend cigars to indecisive people. Definitely a great atmosphere. The bathroom is unisex, though it has a lockable door. Every time I 've used it, it 's been pristine. Up in Smoke is a fantastic place to hang out with friends, find new ones, or enjoy a smoke alone. If you either want to learn about cigars and pipes, or already know your stuff, you need to stop by and check it out.
I highly recommend this lounge if you love great hospitality and a welcoming lounge. I absolutely enjoy being around the people that run this place because they are always very welcoming, understanding, and always give me a good laugh. I also found alot my favorite cigars here as well. Their customer service is great and they are always helping me add new favorites to my list of Cigars. Thanks for being great people!
Having lived across the country, been a member at lounges literally from coast to coast, and having worked at Cigars International, I can easily say this is GREAT spot for great cigars and conversation with awesome people. Small but quality selection of beer...SUPER comfortable chairs and atmosphere. One thing I dont like, but I'm not willing to take a stsr away for, this is a general observation, is for some reason both they and the other shop in town charge for lighter refills even if you've bought cigars and are smoking there. Thats kinda goofy if you as me, and at various stops across the country usually indicates, you're about to probably not spend much time inside. Up In Smoke's atmosphere is such that it doesn't really matter, I spend plenty of time and money there happily.
