I had a lovely Sunday lunch. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, an elegant older woman, and I genuinely enjoyed our conversation. I'll remember her because her birthday is the day before mine, and we both share a love for food! Lol.

What a wonderful spot for delicious southern cuisine! The staff is very welcoming, the establishment was spotless, and the food was absolutely fantastic! The chef was trying out sweet potato fries when we visited, and I really hope they become a regular menu item. The prices were quite reasonable too!

The mashed potatoes and pinto beans were served cold, and the potatoes didn’t have any gravy. The service was lacking; we received our utensils only after the food was brought to the table. There were no salt and pepper shakers, which was surprising! The waitress was on her phone for about 90% of the time we were there.

The gizzards are my favorite! I would love to see more of them! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
