I really appreciate that you can select your base at the register—options include cabbage, rice, noodles, and more. They provide gloves for you to fill your bowl with your choice of meats (like chicken and steak), veggies (such as zucchini, carrots, onions, mushrooms, and cilantro), and you get a separate container to mix your sauce options—pad thai, stir-fry, teriyaki, and others. After cooking your bowl with your chosen base, they bring it right to your table. They provide both forks and chopsticks for your convenience. We had a fantastic dinner with friends and thoroughly enjoyed the food! I highly recommend it for a family outing.
The employee with glasses and blonde hair was rude and seemed annoyed that I didn't notice the small sign about wearing gloves. It felt like she was coming at us as if we should have already known. Overall, my first experience at this place was not very appealing. On the bright side, the big guy at the front provided good customer service and was on top of things. While the food was okay, I was disappointed with the pricing—$16.95 for a large bowl, regardless of whether it was lunch or dinner, and then $3 for a small cup. I probably won't return here again.
I have came to this place many times since they opened and although the food is always good, the price has gotten so high that it is the price of a steak at other restaurants. Today my husband and I went. He had the large bowl (17.00) I had the regularand an appetizer. We both had water and it was 50.00?.
I just dined here for the first time, and while it wasn't terrible, there is definitely some room for improvement. The cashier didn't come across as very professional and even mentioned feeling like she was the only one working. The floors were dirty, and the furniture looked very worn and poorly maintained. On a positive note, the two appetizers we ordered were quite good. However, for my husband, my three-year-old, and myself, the bill came to $65, and we only had water, which seems a bit expensive.
The inside of the place needs the health department. With that being said, the wontons are umm? well we didn?t eat them look at them. It?s kinda over priced for what you get. Food is bland and probably won?t be back but we have it a shot!
