Catfish House - Clarksville

Food is wonderful. We went early on Sat. There were a lot of people waiting, we were told 30 minuets wait but it was less and there is a lot of seats on the porch to wait. Our server was nice, but did not come around as often as needed once we got our food. The table was so close at one end that she brought everything to the other end, when I asked for extra napkins she tucked them all under someone else's plate at the table. She set the bowl of beans down in front of someone and it was so small he thought it was his and started eating before he realized it was for the whole table. We had to flag her down to get to go boxes. She asked if we wanted to go cups for our drinks, 2 of us said yes, she said ok one cup and took off. I do not know if they were short employees and she had tables in another room or she was busy helping in kitchen or some where else. I went back on a Sunday with a group of 15. We had to wait for a table, but it was worth the wait! Our server was wonderful! He took care of all of us and other tables, remembering everything and always checking on us! The food was all wonderful!

Food is absolutely delicious the okra is off the chain the white beans are to die for and the fish is the best ever

Excellent food and service.....as always! We enjoy trips across the river to dine at The Catfish House. Food always good and really like the fried okra, corn in the cob and good old vinegar slaw! WOW!!!

The Catfish House has been in business for as long as I can remember... and I'm 53.... the best Catfish in the eastern seaboard at least... and outstanding service.. quick, polite and always right with your order. From fried okra to coleslaw to a large variety of food, You will thank me for referring
