Burgers are my comfort food. After three long days of driving back and forth from Nashville for my husband to have surgery we decided to stop in for the first time. I ordered the Big Mess and I can honestly say it was the best burger of my life. I thought the Krispy Kreme burger I had when stationed in Washington was good but this was mind blowing. Needless to say yall have a customer for life. Oh I guess it's important to add my daughter liked her pulled chicken and apples but that's only because she didn't try the best burger that blessed this planet with its presence, I wasn't about to share ... she can get her own next time.
Food took over 30min and was delivered cold. The restaurant was less than 30% capacity so no excuse for that. The Ribs were tuff and undercooked, could not chew them off the bone, the dry rub was ok. Pulled pork was dry and cold, threw most of it away. Spent $45 and had to warm up the previous nights leftovers when I got home.
Friendly staff, pretty good food, and a menu with a variety of options. The Mr. Nasty burger (should be renamed Mr. Delicious) with pulled pork and sausage had a smoky flavor, but the brisket was too dry/lean/boring for my taste.
This was my first time here. Very friendly and personable staff. Service was very nice. Well lit and calm atmosphere. I got the rib tip meal. I got the tips, seasoned fries, and mac and cheese. The ribs were okay, however they were hard to eat. The fries were the highlight of the meal to me. The mac and cheese was bland in my opinion. I think I will give this place another try soon and get the brisket instead.
