Mission Bbq - Clarksville

Honestly, my wife loved the food, not so much, it lacked more flavor, but I hope to go one more time and maybe change my review.

You cannot get a bad meal here. The meats are smoked and seasoned perfectly. Ribs, pork, chicken and brisket are all available in a number of ways and there is a variety of different BBQ sauces to choose from. My favorite sides are the Mac& Cheese, bakedbeans and collard greens. Plenty of staff on hand so that service is quick and friendly.

Service was exceptional for any restaurant let alone a counter serve joint. We called ahead for allergen information and we were given detailed information requested and invited to discuss further on arrival. One order was within description specified butnot quite as desired so the manager working the counter switched it out for us. Staff working the counter and seating area werecourteous, busy cleaning or assisting others. The food was good but the service set this place apart.

Great food! Went there for our anniversary and the food was AMAZING! We will be going back! Pulled pork was great on its own, but I added a little Memphis Belle sauce and the Tahin Sweet Heat and it went from great to outstanding! Loved the mac andcheese, the Cole slaw, and the corn bread. Hubby got the Black plate special and it was really good too.

Very good brisket with a smoky flavor that was just about right and moist. The turkey was also tasty and smoky and a bit on the dryness side but that?s to be expected for turkey since it is very lean. The broccoli, raisin and bacon salad was actually verytasty and despite the photo showing the cup not being filled, I had already eaten some and it was quite full when I receivedit. My only complaint was that the country music playing in the background was louder than it should be. I figure it reallyshould?ve been more like background music but it was much louder than that, although to be fair I went at an off time and wasthe only person there. If you?re looking for good barbecue then you can?t go wrong at Mission. I could not help but notice howfriendly the people working there were and how nice I was treated.
