This was the second time this month that a manager at a store in Clarksville refused to help me avoid getting sick. She was rude to me from the beginning, in front of customers and behind me. The manager, who had bleach blond hair with black roots, denied my request for a slight accommodation at Papa Murphy's Pizza. I asked for an employee to put on new gloves and use a clean brush to spread oil and garlic on my gluten-free crust. The first time this happened was at 5pm when they were busy, but when this manager is not there, everyone else is willing to provide the extra brush for my pizza. She is the only person at three stores who refuses to accommodate me and has caused me to get sick from cross contamination several times. Yesterday, I went in before 3pm and there were two people making pizzas. When I asked for a clean brush, the manager rudely refused, claiming it would hold up the production line. I questioned why she wouldn't do it when they weren't busy, leading to a heated exchange. She threatened to call the police if I recorded our conversation (which is legal in TN in public) and tried to refund my money. I insisted on getting my regular Tuesday night dinner and she continued to argue, claiming their restaurant is not gluten-free and that I should not eat there. However, they do offer a gluten-free crust. Other restaurants have been able to accommodate my food allergy, such as Noodle N Company, who use clean pans and utensils for my pasta. As someone with Celiac disease, I am legally entitled to accommodation under the ADA and it is not time consuming. The manager insisted on making the pizza her way without accommodating my severe food allergy. I informed her that I would be filing a complaint against her and she left the line to call the owner. I have always been a loyal customer, but this experience was unacceptable.
I really enjoy the pizza at this restaurant, however on two separate occasions they have failed to include toppings that were specifically listed on our order. This time, they forgot to add tomatoes and garlic, and instead added green peppers, which we did not request for either of our pizzas. The first time we didn't say anything, but this time I called to address the issue. They apologized and promised to take extra care with my next order to ensure this doesn't happen again.
We get pizza here once or twice a week. They make them from fresh ingredients while we watch. If you participate in an online survey you can get the code at the end that gets you some free chocolate chip cookie dough that makes a flavorful baked good. You must wear a mask in the store! Good service here.
I paid 19$ for a medium pizza. The original size looked like a thin crust. They didn’t even put the sauce properly. It didn’t taste good as well. Well wasted 20$, go to Pizza Hut instead!Food: 2/5
