We were told to go to the 3rd floor as it was open seating with the same menu. We went up sat down and the person behind the bar never acknowledged we were there! Not even a hey someone will be with you shortly, she just wiped the whole bar down and ignored us. After sitting an additional 15 minutes we left! To say disappointing is an understatement.
Stopped by after an APSU basketball double-header and it wasn 't busy at all on the first floor. Cool space, interesting concept. Unfortunately service and food wasn 't. The menu is very basic. Nothing unique. The car references are WAY over the top; some make no sense. Our server was fine but it was either the end of her shift or she was having a rough night because she wasn 't exactly friendly. Basically matter of fact in all responses. She didn 't write down our order which isn 't necessarily bad, but only if you get it right. She did not. First order was the Mechanic Burger: no mayo, no mustard, no tomato. It came out with no ketchup and no tomato. The second order was Born to Run: no mustard. Came out with mustard and no mayo. Checked the receipt, she didn 't enter either correctly. Third order was their veggie burger (Not in the Race). It came out correctly but was simply falling apart. Basically not edible as a sandwich but supposedly tasted pretty good. They put something called break dust on like half of their items which is like a seasoned salt. Too much of it on the fries; was overpowering on our visit. Maybe they generally do better and we were there on a bad night, with a tired server, and a kitchen with a heavy hand on the brake dust. But for the cost of the meal for three, I doubt we 'll ever make a return visit. Better food, service, and atmosphere at other restaurants in town.
Beautiful building, flawless food, great staff. (especially Mister Juan Peralta) BEST restaurant Clarksville has ever had!!
My husband and I went to Joe's Garage for the first time last week and we genuinely liked it. The fried pickles were different than what we are used to but we enjoyed our entrées and the price for both of us was surprisingly low.Over the weekend some friends and I visited Trattoria di cat and we really liked the atmosphere and our waiter was very friendly and attentive. We had Bruschetta for the table and we all loved it. I had chicken carbonara for dinner and Lavender Crème brûlée for dessert which was very tastey. The price for one person was pretty high though.
First time here and won’t be back. Our server, Faith, is the only reason I enjoyed this place. She was sweet, kind, and an absolute ray of light. When we first arrived the place was empty on Valentine’s Day, which should have been my first indication. The hostess tried seating us at a table next to the kitchen door, so I politely asked if it would be okay for a different table (again we were the only customers in the place) and she rolled her eyes and angrily gathered up the menus before walking to another table. She then proceeded to get angry because that table was visibly dirty and started angrily talking to herself, then sat the menus down at one table down and walked away without saying anything. Super strange. The menu is hard to read, I can’t explain it, maybe that’s just me though. But you have to read each individual description to know what anything is. Faith was nice enough to have mine and my son’s burger split onto two plates. But the fries were cold and the burger wasn’t that warm either, which again is strange for us being one of 3 tables in the restaurant at this point, then my daughter’s corn dog came out with raw batter still on it. So, personally don’t recommend this place, and I hope Faith finds a new job at a restaurant that’s busy so she can actually be paid for how good of a waitress she is.
