None of us like seafood, but her dad does, so she used her own money to purchase the gift card. Unfortunately, the restaurant closed less than 2 weeks later. I have reached out to the company twice, but have not received any resolution. I feel that they took advantage of my teenage daughter by gladly accepting her money knowing they were going to close soon.
I visited this restaurant for the first time and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. I tried the oysters and catfish, both of which were delicious. I look forward to returning to try some of the other menu items.
The shrimp sausage boil was a bit salty, but the shrimp was delicious. The portions were generous. I didn't enjoy the fried whiting with the skin on. The fries were good. If I come back, I'll definitely try the fried shrimp.
Just left here and I need the Pepto Bismal. I feel like I have been drinking a bottle of vegetable oil after leaving here! Definitely did not get stuffed, so that's a bonus. The 10 cars in the parking lot at 6:30 p.m. should have been a clue for us, but we figured there probably were not alot of people out to eat yet because of the weather being so nice. Now, we know why there were so few cars...Our server was Danisha and she did the best she could with the poor quality of food she had to work with. We didn't mind dropping $100 for the two of us, had the food been good. I ordered the combo shrimp, King Alaskan Crab legs, clam chowder and cajun fries, while my boyfriend ordered the shrimp, mussel, Dungeness Crab, corn and potato and boiled eggs. My soup came on a styrofoam plate! It was very hot (a good thing), but it was a greenish color with an extremely fishy taste and I've had better out of a can. When the rest of our meals arrived, I immediately noticed how few and how little my Alaskan King Crabs were! I've had bigger at Red Lobster and thought this place was a step-up from them; boy was I wrong!I ordered mine Juicy Crab style, mild and my boyfriend ordered his Juicy Crab style, hot. Mine was more like a medium and had alot of spices, while my boyfriend's was so hot, he almost couldn't eat it and he loves spicy food. Both meals were extremely greasy, like I mentioned. The shrimp was good and plentiful, while I could barely even find the Crab with my meal and my fries were cold and tasted like Rally's, only worse. My boyfriend's Dungeness Crab was large and WAY bigger than the Alaskan King Crab Legs. In fact, one of my shrimps had mire meat on it than my crab leg. Both tasted good, but nothing special. A small fork for digging out the Crab from the shell would have been useful. They didn't have any.As you can see by my pictures of the soup and crab leg, the food was very disappointing. I included the small cups of butter next to the crab leg to show the size comparison. We were not happy at all with the quality, price and taste of our food. Finally, they don't even have alcohol! They don't have their liquor license still! There also was no manager walking around and asking how everything was. A previous review said the manager walked out on day 3 after opening...not surprising. The place was overpriced and the food was not good for the reasons I previously mentioned, therefore, we will not be back. We love seafood, but for $100, we could have eaten at Red Lobster, had better food, and left with more money!
They had quite few items on menu tht thy didnt have. So comparing this place with Stormy crab they are better with the fried foods. The onion ring, chicken strips, fish, calamari, french fries, fried oysters, fried shrimp Stormy cant touch them. They didnt have seafood bread uggh or Gumbo on their menu which sucks. There juicy wings was good but not the best. There seafood boil sauces was ok but not like Stormy. So when i want seafood boil seafood bread and gumbo Stormy it is. If i want fried seafood Juicy here i come.
