Safeway Liquor - Clatskanie

Small grocery store in a small town. Beer wine, no hard liquor.

The business is friendly. However, the fruit and vegetable quality leaves a LOT to be desired. I was frustrated. both the bad level of freshness in business and how often things are tasteless, or mold, or whatever when I get them home.

If you want to go back in time and visit an old school Safeway, it is very cool to see the difference of old school and new school

I love my hometown Safeway, but about the 4th. July weekend I was horrified in the Clatskanie location. Despite the governor's mandate, customers did not have to wear a mask. The store was full and felt dangerous.

Liquor is not sold in OR grocery stores. This Safeway has an aisle for wine and there is beer in the back cooler.
