Not sure if it was the owner/manager or what.. but what a tool! Seemed like everything was an issue, had to basically remind the pleb he was running a restaurant. Pretty sure I heard a microwave doing all the work out back too.
You know that great little feeling when you stumble across a local that you can call your own? Well we found that place today at Pint Sized. Tucked away in a small cul de sac local shop. We'd driven past so many times and never noticed until last week. A quick look online at their menu and interest was piqued. As other reviewers have mentioned, it's not about the decor here but about the local craft beers and food. Both were a very welcome and wonderful surprise. You don't expect the best buffalo wings I've had in an age at a suburban local but we got them. You don't expect some interesting menu items like maple bacon Mac n cheese balls or chips in truffle oil but we got them. You do expect good prices, though. We got that too. We've found our new local and will be visiting again and again for an afternoon of food and beers. In one afternoon we had: - Maple bacon Mac n cheese balls - Chilly beef empanadas - Buffalo wings with Frank's hot saucex2 - Rustic chips in truffle oil - 6 pints of Local craft beers - 2 half pints - 5 glasses of Prosecco All for $175. What a great little find....it's not about the decor. It's all about the great range of proper local boutique beers and incredibly tasty food! The fries are soooo good. And the service is pretty good too!
