Attilio's Pizza - Clayton

If you value your dining experience, I recommend avoiding this place! We were asked whether we were dining in or taking out, so we chose to eat in. When our pizza was ready, it was simply brought out on a cookie sheet and dropped onto our table. To our surprise, we were rudely instructed to serve ourselves by getting our own plates. As we sat there discussing how discourteous this was, an employee felt compelled to interject, gruffly stating that they had been in business for 28 years without issues and that dine-in is not the norm; the tables on the deck are merely an extra feature for takeout. If that’s the case, then why did they ask us if we wanted to dine in? Had I read the reviews beforehand, we would have skipped this place altogether. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this so-called "28-year-old gem" and find somewhere else to eat. I only gave it one star because it’s the lowest option!

We had a wonderful experience at the restaurant. We pre-ordered a large pepperoni pizza, and it was ready exactly when they promised. The pizza was delicious, and the views from the deck were stunning. It was the perfect amount for two adults and three young children. Overall, I would rate the food a 5, the service a 4, and the atmosphere a 5.

One star is all it’s worth. First of all, they have VERY LIMITED options so they should not call themselves a restaurant. And the fact that it’s cash only is very inconvenient. Not everyone always has cash on them. I ordered a $4 dollar salad and the girl behind the counter tried to charge me $10. Good thing I realized. This is one place I don’t recommend. Food: 1
