They typically have to sacrifice the taste when they go gluten-free....But not here. I had been to the new day twice and was blown away by the taste and texture of her food. the pizza, the cookies, the lasagna...wow so good. I would seriously never know that her eating was gluten-free when someone gave it to me.
This restaurant offers truly exceptional food. You wouldn't even know it's gluten-free based on how delicious everything is! I personally have no issues with gluten and I would still eat here every day. If you're in Clayton, make sure to give it a try and don't forget to take home some baked goods - they are even better than what you would find at most bakeries that use gluten.
I had an incredible dining experience at New Day Gluten Free Bakery. I ordered the French toast for breakfast and absolutely loved it. I also got a cake pop to go, which I ate in my car. I am visiting from out of town and wish I had a bakery like this in my area.
The bread was very impressive. The brownie was delicious. The soups were good with a great selection. My only complaint is the low-quality cheese. I would expect a high-quality cheese at a boutique place like this, as well as more dessert options on the menu. However, I would still go back regardless.
