Casa Compay Cafe Bakery - Clearwater

False advertisement or the establishment is transitioning ownership but this is not a Cuban bakery. I went to the bakery this morning (12/23/2022) 7:15 am and they literally had nothing on the food display shelves. This is not a Cuban bakery, pretty sure the workers were from Central America not Cuba. Which the only down side is for authenticity you want Cuban pastries done by Cubans. Disappointing.

Been going here for years because the original owner cooked delicious food. Always got the pulled pork. They switched owners around a year ago and their food was inconsistent but more often on the good side. Enough for me to continue going.They just changed owners again within the past month or two and I will never go back again. Pork was tasteless and half of it was just pure fat.

Found my favorite cubano sandwich spot since I moved down here. Big bites galore.

Really Great Food.Could use a bit better service, and absolutely needs interior design, a non-poorly handwritten menu, and an atmosphere that doesn't look like a communist restaurant in Cuba.Available lemon for the Meat and Yuca would have been great. Still... delicious food.
