Food was great! But the server seemed like she said no to everything, seems like she wasn’t really familiar with whether or not the restaurant had the things!
We visited Villa Bellini while on vacation on recommendation from family...there is an extensive wine selection if you're interested. I didn't have the bread, but the offering was beautifully presented and my children both had several slices. We chose the calamari as an appetizer, which was prepared with a near perfect blend of seasonings and presented in a tiny wire basket; cute idea. My children had the Chilean sea bass, devoured in seconds; the grouper (to be fair, this was eaten by a 12 year old boy who is aging out of chicken fingers, so this was a definitive win for us), and I had the Veal Saltimbocca. It was delicious though some bites were a little less tender than I prefer, the overall dish was very flavorful. The sides we chose were asparagus and the lobster mac and cheese. I didn't try the pasta, but my children assured me it was fantastic. I think the highlight had to be the Tiramisu. It was prepared table side, and while my children were a little hesitant, once they tasted it, they were immediate converts. My youngest begged for a second order all his own as we shared the dessert. Highly recommend. If you have the opportunity to visit, request AJ as your server. He did a fantastic job with our table and finicky eaters. I should also say that everyone we came in contact with was warm and hospitable. That's a rarity these days.
