L'ostal - Clermont-Ferrand

An unforgettable experience! We are not there in a restaurant with a long card: there is only one menu, with three variations: from memory between 5 and 8 different dishes. Each dish is a slaughter, everything is perfectly prepared and cooked, and the advantage of the unique menu is the consistency also between dishes. The service is intended for small onions (2 highly competent servers for 20 seats). Obviously, given the number of services, we eat in two hours, but it is two hours of pure happiness. Attention: we had a lot of luck to be able to eat without reservation, but this is not the right approach! Come on!

Beautiful course that this dinner at the Ostal. We take your hand and take you on a walk to discover authentic flavors of the region with a lot of inventiveness and delicacy. No map but a menu that walks you in the very imaginative universe of the chef populated with fresh and auvergne flavours. The whole team is wonderful and friendly in particular the sommelier who advises you of the original wines without being expensive for a met wine deal. Very good lunch at the ostal for 49 €. An inventive cuisine, very nicely presented without unnecessary fun, tastes that combine without mixing. Bravo
