We stumbled upon this place by accident. “Uncle Scott” (the host) was so inviting, personable and upbeat! His smile is contagious! The brunch food is absolutely delicious! We had the Cheddar Chive Biscuits Gravy and Brunch Burger! The outside atmosphere was excellent! The only reason I gave 3 stars for atmosphere is due to the upstairs bathroom; the only negative was the upstairs bathroom decor. If I would have saw it before we got our food, we likely would have left. I realize it ties to the name of the venue; however, it was vulgar and satanic. I am curious as to the history behind the restaurant name.

The old Snickers... located in the Battery Park district is a nice neighborhood haunt. Great place to catch a drink and some okay bar food. The patio is quite nice except pur table was right in front of a speaker, literally inches away from us, making it difficult to talk. Our server, well when we saw her, which was not often seemed to be having some personal problem. A nice and very efficient young man took over our table of 7. He made up for he lack in attentiveness. The food is nothing to write home about, typical bar food, burgers fries, pasta, the menu lacks in creativity and healthful choices. The older gentleman playing host was snarky, as we arrived he asked us if we had a reservation, I said the web site did got give information about reservations to which he said you're supposed to call ahead... I replied with how you supposed to know that if the website and social media doesn't tell you to do so? Once inside, we see 3/4 of the patio is empty, I don't think the guy is very happy with the job, nor is he a people person. Surely he was not welcoming...I was about to suggest we spend our money elsewhere but we decided to stay anyway. I will not be running back here anytime soon.
Thanks for the reply Steve. Honestly, everything was great. The only issue I had was that our server was changed partway through service and the new server didn't seem to know what was going on. Some drinks weren't rang in that were ordered before the switch he didn't know that we were waiting on food. By no means a big deal, it just seemed like a breakdown in communication. I will absolutely return, and I have a feeling the same situation will not occur.
