Clyde's Table And Tavern - Cleveland

Was our friend's birthday and boy what a crowd on a Monday evening in downtown Cleveland, Ga. Brenda had told me by phone that she would have us a table for 3 at 6:00pm and not sure how, but that 3 top was waiting upon our arrival at precisely 6:00. Drinks were ordered, entree order placed. Kitchen overworked and a little slow but no worries. Our Chicken Tenders, Crab Sandwich and Beef Briskett were all perfectly cooked and exceptionally good. The House provided our Birthday Girl with a splendid Ice Cream/Brownie which was wonderful. To Brenda and the entire wait staff, Thank You........we shall return in the very near future.

This place has great food. I tried the special of crab cakes and they were fantastic! Another person in my party had a burger that they loved. Highly recommend!Parking: Once you get to the square, you can park anywhere. You can look for a spot on that side of the square if you want to be close.Maps took me to the back of the building in June 2023, I did correct the location because there's a sign that tells you to go out front and the back parking lot is employee parking only.

Great lunch at Clyde's! The Brisket sandwich and onion rings were really good, as were the fried Avocado slices.Food: 5/5

Well worth the short drive from Helen, GA to Cleveland, Ga and even the short 20 min wait.I had the Faroe Island Salmon with Korean BBQ glaze and Sweet Potato Fries- both were divine! Hubs had FRIED catfish and onion rings and slightly spicy collard greens..the portions were VERY ample..can definitely compliment the chef on all! So full, we had to take the Bread Pudding to go. Sat out on the breezy deck. Anthony our server was engaged and attentive (a glowing example of splendid waitstaff). Loved the Mason jar belly washer drink glasses which gave a cool country yet contemporary nod to their vibe. Will try to go back during the week to try their avocado fries. Included a photo of my empty plate cuz..my dinner was that good....if I had had a biscuit to sop up the last dribbles of that sauce, I would have scraped it clean! 5 stars y'all.

Clyde's has great, friendly service, and very good food. It's the kind of place that makes American favorites, and I've found the burgers, brisket, and sides all very solid. It's got a wood-cabin feel inside, and the covered outdoor patio is great especially if one needs to find a location that's pup-friendly.
