The sauces offered range from curry to broth to peanut sauces, with jasmine rice or brown rice available as side accompaniments. The vegetables are cooked perfectly, with large pieces that are firm and bright in fresh colors. The entrees are not overwhelmed with overly sweet or salty sauces, but instead are balanced just right. The food is also not greasy. The service is excellent, with a slow-paced atmosphere that allows guests to stay and enjoy their meal. Reservations are not necessary and seating is readily available in the restaurant's two dining rooms. Parking near the restaurant is limited, but there is a parking garage a few blocks south of the restaurant in a safe and walkable neighborhood.
I visited this restaurant looking for a light meal of soup and appetizers, and was pleasantly surprised by the wide variety of tofu and vegetable options on the menu. I ordered the dumpling soup and spinach potstickers, both of which were delicious. The tofu triangles were slightly dry, but still enjoyable. I definitely plan on returning to try more dishes at this restaurant.
The options are extensive for vegans. the last full page of the menu is vegan and vegetarian, the latter can be adjusted to vegan. the sauces range from curry to broth to peanut sauces. jasmin rice or brown rice are the next-companies. the sweet is not overcooked; they are large pieces, solid and bright, fresh colors. the escaped themselves are not drown in sick sweet or strongly salted sauces; the sauces are just right. also eating is not fat. service is excellent: it is slower tempo, designed to stay awhile. we have never made a reservation and could still sit. there are two dining rooms. parking is limited near the restaurant, but there are parking garage, a few blocks south of the restaurant, and the neighbourhood is safe and walkable.
I came here for suppe and appetizers because I was in tune for a light meal, but they had a lot tofu and veggie options on the menu. I had the disgusting suppe and the spinat potsticker that were fantastic. The Tofu triangles were a bit dry, but not bad. I will try this place again.
Best curry dishes and only place to heat it up and make it authentic when you ask.... the string names are nice also (bathroom)
