Johnny's Downtown - Cleveland

Not only was the food and drinks good, the service was awesome! Our waiter I believe his name was Matthew was amazing and so sweet! We will for sure go back for future date nights!

I ordered the potato crusted grouper to go and it tasteless. The crust was perfect but are had no taste. It has potential to be good if seasoned well. The green beans were not cooked enough. The white potatoes were okay. The price was decent. Overall, themeal was a 1/5 but the portion size was decent so I bumped up to 2/5. You have to season grouper the lemon butter is not enough.

This is a top notch steakhouse. They have a pianist a couple days a week and I had a lot of fun hanging out and having dinner. There were a couple of people who got up and sang along during a coulte tunes. I really enjoyed the time there and the food isdelicious. I've eaten at Johnny's twice now and I'm sure I will continue to dinne there whenever I visit Cleveland.

The food was great! I loved how tender the short ribs were and the sauce was amazing. You could probably put that sauce on anything and it would make it amazing! The housemade gnocchi also deserves some praise. They were perfectly fluffy but still hada nice bite to them. I will definitely be back to try one of the veal dishes soon!!

Phenomenal restaurant. Paino in bar section. Has outdoor seating and valet. Takes reservations. Has delicious duck, short ribs and veal. We had a terrific server who made our dining experience fantastic.
