The entire production facility is located on-site. The staff is friendly and the food options are excellent. Whether you're dining solo, with a group, or hosting an event, this place has you covered. Additionally, there are plenty of TVs available to catch a game.
Basic...very basic. My experience at this place on 8/27 was disappointing compared to my favorite restaurant. The location is inconvenient for parking and the setup is odd, as it used to be an old factory. The large open space has nice details, but there is no waiter. You must grab a menu, find a seat at a picnic table, decide on pizza (the only option), stand in line to order, and then grab your food when it's ready. The pizza menu only offers pre-made options with either white or red sauce, without a toppings list. The beer selection was good and the wait time was about 15 minutes. The thin crust pizzas were overcooked and tough, with the white pizza being particularly disappointing. The total cost for pizza and beer for two was $55.00, which was not worth it. I recommend waiting for better pizza options downtown, such as Pizza Hut in the stadium or BeerHead on the East Bank. You can also enjoy wings there alongside a full meal.
The restaurant has a large, industrial-style decor with plenty of tables, a bar area, a spacious kitchen, and a visible brewing area. The atmosphere is energetic and clean. I visited for lunch and drinks yesterday morning and had a great experience. The staff at the bar and in the kitchen were welcoming and friendly. I tried a variety of beers that are only available at the brewery and they were all outstanding, with bold flavors and a wide range of styles to choose from. The Italian Sausage Pizza was delicious, with quality ingredients and a flavorful crust baked in a fire brick oven. The clientele mainly consisted of young professionals having lunch, and although parking was a bit of a challenge, the overall experience was worth it. I would definitely recommend Masthead as a must-visit spot in Cleveland.
I was in town for business and tried some amazing craft beer at this restaurant! The pizza from their kitchen was also fantastic, so I had to come back again before leaving the city. It was definitely worth the second trip for the new beer selection and delicious pizza. This place is the perfect spot for a pre-show meal in Cleveland!
The restaurant has a large industrial decor with many tables, a bar area, a spacious kitchen, and a bustling brewing area visible to customers. The space is clean and well-maintained. I visited for lunch yesterday and also tried their brewed beers. The staff at the bar were extremely friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The man making the pizzas in the kitchen was also very inviting. During my visit, I tried two flights of beer that were exclusive to the brewery. The beers were fantastic, with a wide variety of flavors and options for every beer drinker, from casual to craft beer enthusiasts. I highly recommend trying their Italian sausage pizza, which was absolutely delicious. The pizza had quality ingredients, tasty sausages, fresh dough, and a perfectly crispy crust. Most of the customers during lunchtime were young professionals who enjoyed ordering beer and food. The only downside was the parking situation, as the nearby streets were full and the parking garage nearby was a bit expensive. However, the overall experience at Masthead, with its great beer selection, delicious food, and excellent service, makes it a must-visit place in Cleveland. I would definitely make this place a regular stop if I worked nearby.
