Their staff is friendly and they make fresh chopped liver on Thursdays (late morning) for the best price (or maybe a dollar more than Boris's) in Cleveland! They have a lot of delicious to-go foods such as pargiyot, kugel, barbecue sauced brisket, and more. They have an extensive refrigerated meat section and lots of frozen foods ranging from kishka and multiple varieties of gefilte fish to several desserts.
The fact that some people in the Jewish community who know the deal continue to shop here disgusts me. Just go to Boris for your dead cow parts.Owner Ilan Senders and his mother Toni have allowed Tibor's to be used as front for Eyton's illegal Dank Vapes and Dankwoods earnings. DV and DW have caused countless kids to develop severe lung damage and in some cases die of Cotton Lung, which is caused by their weed vape cartridges cost cutting mixing agent- acetate oil. In addition, Ilan has sold hard drugs to Jewish children in the community out of his store. They are currently being investigated by the feds. They (Toni and Ilan, I don't know Eyton) also happen to be extremely unpleasant and arrogant people who I've dealt with in both personal and professional capacities. And so is Igor. And Rafi Frankel is a rapist. Just throw the whole place away.
Absolutely excellent! I just received a bag full of goodies to try, and I can honestly say it's some of the best jerky and dry-aged salami I've ever tasted!
I often walk by this place and finally decided to stop in and check it out. There's nothing quite like old-world salami and smoked meats! They had a great selection of cuts. The shop had a bit of a vintage feel to it, which added to the overall experience. There's only one checkout counter, giving it a more family-style atmosphere. The staff behind the counter were friendly. I ended up getting some salami, jerky, a few different cuts of meat, hot dogs, and steak. Everything was delicious!
Chicken salad is one of my favorites, but I often find that at other kosher delis or restaurants, it's not made quite right. They tend to use overcooked chicken breast, which can be too chewy and not melt in your mouth. However, the chicken salad I picked up from the deli counter at Tibor's on Green Road early Friday morning was moist and delicate. It tasted fantastic on fresh, lightly toasted pita. It's honestly the best chicken salad I've had in a long time.
