We discovered that the beer cans from here were MUCH colder than the ones from outside. You can’t take beverages (other than bottled water) into the exhibits. As we were in line here twice, we saw, and smelled, the food and it looked great. We were just lured by the bbq outside.
The wait to order was non-existent, the wait for food wasn't bad. The quality was pretty good. My wife and I shared a Philly Cheese Steak and a Mac Cheese. the sandwich was pretty good and the Mac Cheese wasn't bad. Prices were a little high but that is to be expected.
This was the most convenient stop we could have made, and while the food is not super cheap, it was good, and served very quickly, in order to give us the time back to make it through more of the Rock Hall! Well worth it $54 for 3 people, sandwiches, drinks, chips), and it only took maybe 3 minutes for our food to be served. There are tables nearby, and plenty of seating!
Three stars only for the location and the staff were friendly. While the food was not the reason we went to the R R HOF, the vendor does somewhat represent the venue. I don’t mind paying a premium price for onsite food service, but I do expect at least a reasonable level of quality for the price. Philly Cheesesteak sandwich was $14; undoubtably, this is a premium price for just a sandwich. The meat was unidentifiable, there were no peppers or onions, modest amount of dry, nasty cheese and the meat tasted like last week’s leftovers. Enjoy the Hall, but consider other food options.
For a museum gift shop this was surprisingly delicious food. I got the buffalo chicken panini and it had shredded chicken marinated in hot sauce with red onions and pickles. Super yummy!!
