I've been telling my husband about Steve's diner for a long time so now that they are closing we decided to go. Was very busy, much more so than any other time I've been there. Lady said it will be a while until they take our order. That's fine. We sat down and were told we weren't allowed to sit at the table we were at so we moved. Someone else walked in less than a minute after we moved and sat at the table we were originally at and were not told to move. Most of the people in there already had their food and she was only taking phone orders and to go orders while we had to wait to order. The girl taking orders put her fingers to her head like a gun. We just ended up leaving. The food was good there anytime we went but I never had that nostalgic feeling there like I did the original Steve's so I'm not really heart broken. Just not worth the wait time.

Crying shame to see a diner turn its back on the community, especially one that claimed to be 24/7. It's sad that this is becoming a reality of the current state of events.
