The Jolly Scholar - Cleveland

Great selection and the beers are accurate to the description and a great representation of the style. Everything is very good.

This was my first visit and I enjoyed this quite a bit. I ordered the vegetarian buffalo wings with sweet potato fries. I tried my friend's Mac cheese and everything is very good. I will definitely be back, the veggie nuggets were surprisingly authentic. I had eaten chicken-chicken nuggets earlier in the day and I can honestly say that had I not known the wings from Jolly Scholar were vegetarian, I couldn't tell the difference. I also had a raspberry sweet tea which was delicious as well. 10/10

Love the vibes here. If you like beer, this is the place to go in University Circle for an after-work drink with friends. The service is consistently friendly and fast. The food is just okay. I’ve had some good stuff and some bad. I will say the fries aren’t super consistent and can vary. The atmosphere is great: fun and energetic without being loud and obnoxious. If you don’t like beer, the liquor selection is decent and they always have seasonal cocktail choices. Prices are super fair considering the inflation everywhere these days. Have a sober ride home because the pint/full glass pricing is better than the flight pricing IMO.

The beers we had were good, however the food was fairly mediocre. It's not bad, it's just relatively average bar food. They have a nice variety of beer styles on tap, and plenty of seating. Note that it is actually inside a building on campus, but it's not limited to just students!

This is bar/ restaurant is in a Case Western building. It was a decent atmosphere. Good beer selection. I like sour and fruit beer and I really enjoyed the Midweek Vacation. The food was OK but it was nothing spectacular. It's within walking distance of a bunch of university circle stuff.
