Other members of our party tried the pork roasts and beef roasts, with mixed results. The brisket was tough and difficult to cut through, while the roast pork was mostly fatty with little lean meat. We appreciated the well-cooked vegetables and the beautifully renovated restaurant space, earning it one star. When we expressed our concerns about the meals to the staff, we were informed that this was the standard preparation at Sails and that the menu descriptions might not accurately reflect the dishes served. Some of our group are regular members of the club and have had better experiences at the café near the entrance. However, based on this visit, we do not plan to return to Sails for another meal. A response from the restaurant would be appreciated.
This is one of my favorite places, but the renovation noise made it impossible to enjoy the meal or the company. Do not go back until all renovations are completed.
Lunch here with hubby. was a great meal for club food. Steak was tasteful and delicate. Personal-friendly, club facilities clean. Will definitely return. Recommend booking a table as busy.
It was just for dinner and it was great to see the new menu. We had the Cajun seafood Curry and the Barramundi paupiettes. You were very good. And of course we had great service from Angelo.
The baby octopus was off. It tasted off and smelled awful. I took it back only to be asked if I’d like some more. No thanks. That was it. Absolutely Appalling.
