We had escargots and crème brûlée and for mains we chose the specials which were really good. It is a bit on the expensive side but we are happy to pay these prices to get excellent food and service.
Living in the redlands doesn't allow a huge choice of quality restaurants so we are very happy to have "the French table" in Cleveland to dine locally. The French decore is tasteful with soft furnishings so it's not too noisy. The menu is not too elaborate and perhaps a little old fashioned but everything we have ordered was tasty and well executed. It's great for a group or intimate enough for couples.. not really fine dining or cutting edge but great for honest home cooked French food.
My family and I have been dining at this restaurant since it opened! It use to be in a different location in cleveland 10+ years ago and has many memories! It continues to grow and grow into the best restaurant in the Bayside. Food that is flavoursome and chefs with real talent! Heart and soul is put into these recipes and the service is impeccable! Some modern twist have been added and everyone should take this on board. It's BYO, and licensed which rarely exists and the food in down town Cleveland is second to non! Please I urge you to go and try different picks from the menu! I love Camembert, garlic prawns, eye fillet, salmon with beautiful pan seared skin! With a twist to the sauces that will freshen the taste buds to the modern world Enjoy!!!! Please dine locally as we have the best produce!
The food here is really good, certainly flavoursome, well-prepared and enjoyable. The atmosphere is pleasant, but can be noisy if there are a few groups. The lighting is a bit too bright for my liking, but that only detracts a little. The staff are attentive and friendly. At busy times, the service can be a bit slow, (not annoyingly slow however) but with wine and good company you don't notice. The menu is small and changes regularly with blackboard specials so there is always something different to try. It's mid-priced meals mean that a three course dinner for two is about $120, its BYO, so bring your favourite quaffer and for $4/head corkage you can enjoy your meal without the cost of overpriced wine.
The food here was quite average, the prices were on the high side ,but the service was friendly and quick. Small menu and small portions, not quite a French restaurant ambiance.
