TGI FRIDAYS - Clifton Park

It was unfortunate that there was a power outage about 15 minutes after we were seated, but that is not the reason for this negative review. I had a coupon for a free appetizer, which had been ordered and our drinks had just been delivered. The power flickered and then went out and the waitress told us they would not be able to use the ovens since there was no power, so we decided to leave. We left our drinks on the table (soft drinks) and the server handed us a bill for $18.00 for the free appetizer we never received and the drinks we did not consume. She told us we would would have to pay in cash since the computers were down. Did she really expect us to stay and finish our drinks in the dark?? That is when we walked out. I was very disappointed in how management handled this. I realize power outages are rare, but I am not inclined to return to this venue based on this experience.

Steak was very good but ribs were terrible, barely ay sauce and served cold. Waitress was disorganized and forgot everything. I will have to reconsider going back again.

The food at TGI Friday’s has improved in recent years consistently good. Service excellent engaging staff. The wile experience is excellent and value very good. Really like the Stripes reward program also.

We went to the restaurant for lunch yesterday right when they opened, so it was not very busy. There was only one other person besides us when we arrived.

I arrived at the restaurant at 5:30 pm for happy hour, hoping that my favorite bartender Justine would be working. Luckily, she was there, and I believe both the staff and customers are very fortunate to have her.
