Ooka Sushi Hibachi Lounge - Clifton

I’m still confused on how this place has great reviews. As soon as we walked in, we noticed it wasn’t sanitary. Once they sat us down, the chair covers where old dirty (rice crumbs and everything). The grill had mildew all over the boarders plus dry old food in corners. Makes you question what goes on behind the scenes. On top of that the prices are not equal to their attention to cleanliness. No thank you, we all left!

My husband got food poisoning eating here! He had the hibachi chicken and obviously it wasn't cooked thoroughly enough..... He spent 2 days suffering from it. Also, the chairs all have fabric covers on them that make me question the cleanliness of the establishment.... The service was good, but the chicken was definitely not cooked enough. Thank God my husband made it thru his ordeal alive. Food poisoning is no joke.

First time here and was celebrating a friend's birthday with family. Had a great time here and food was tasty and good portion size. The tricks that they cook did was very entertaining (We did Hibachi). I tried Saké for the first time and ate almost of my food. It seemed like a lot (usually I don't eat all my food) but that day I did. The only thing I didn't like was that everyone had to participate in Hibachi since we were seated there and certain people didn't want to but eventually did. You can't really separate the regular food from Hibachi but

I took a friend here for their birthday. When I arrived I parked in their private lot. I walked in and there was a bit of a wait for hibachi. They ended up sitting us faster than I thought they would. Hank was our server and he was nice. I started with a sangria that I got from the bar. It wasn't too bad. For my hibachi meal, I got salmon and shrimp. My friend got steak and chicken. The food was pretty good and the cook gave a good show. The bill wasn't too bad and I would return to this establishment.

Been here twice and I loved it both times! I have not sat at the hibachi tables but at a regular table. The sushi and hibachi are both delicious. Music is great. Fast service. Really good prices for what you get. Will definitely be back!
