Hip Hop Fish Chicken - Clinton

My first and only experience with this franchise. Ordered their Chicken Sandwich took one bite set it down and noticed the mold growing on the bottom of it. I immediately threw it and all the other items I purchased with it. Further, the restaurant was hotter and muggier inside than out.

Delicious! Great beverage selection. The hushpuppies are out of this world! The fish and chips were fresh. Love the bread and the homemade coleslaw. I didn't even use any sauce on the fish. The breader was perfectly seasoned and crispy! Can't wait to go back!

Always enjoy Hip Hop. Their chicken is good, not quite a Baltimore chicken box but close. Their catfish is like an edible crack... It's addictive ? No matter which location, the catfish is tremendous. They always give a great portion of fries which are great hot. The string beans have a lot of flavor and a real kick from the peppers. Ask for them mild if you don't do spicy. Great selection of sides and desserts. One of my favorite delivery or carry out meals.

Food is cooked to order which is plus. The wait is never that long. I just do not care for the white stuff they sprinkle all over your chicken and fish. I've asked them not to, they do anyway. So I don't eat here any

Worst chicken I’ve ever had in my life. Okay, we had the two sandwich combo at lunch on Thursday and it was amazing soooo… we rave, tell everyone we found a new place and decide to treat our kids to a feast on Sunday night. The chicken was dry, tasteless, and burnt tasting. The fries wet and mushy. I’m so very disappointed and they need to do better. I’m hoping the time of day had something to do with the quality.
