I loved the diner feeling of the place, and that eating sometimes I fit some basic diner food, what can I say? they have very clearly marked vegan options and many of them. so far I have tried her grill-jackfruit sandwich and a southwestern bowl. the sandwich was good, but the bowl was not; pure tear, black buzz and a veg with salsa on the side, none of them were spiced. yet it was full and healthy. I would go back.
My bf and I had breakfast here today, and we were so excited to see a nice list of vegan options! In addition to their regular vegan menu items, they always include a vegan dish in their daily specialties. we both had the tofu-cram with kartoffels, red paprika and twirl. it was served with a side of salsa. delicious! our server was very friendly and enjoyed sharing with us why the owners offer vegan selections. in any case worth a visit!
A great diner on the east side with lots of vegan options. pancakes are huge. mandelmilch for coffee. the scrambler comes on a skill with hashbrowns and is really hearty and full.
We stopped by for a quick lunch while driving through the area. It seems to be trying to be everything to everyone. The menu is huge with more vegan options than you’d expect in the area. I had the jackfruit bbq sandwich. It was ok, but nothing special. They didn’t even include a side with the exception of a pickle spear. My husband got a wrap sandwich which he said was underwhelming. They do have cocktails and our Tequila Sunrise and **** Mary were good.
