Nana's Pit Bbq Seafood - Clinton

The food was good. I had half-plate pork ribs, saccotash and rice. The sides were unnoticed, but the ribs were good. Also 3 shrimp tacos with the house sauce is excellent; Flakey Shell Tortillas. He hoped that more attention would be given to the seating area and the toilets, but not much change in these aspects. Much potential for a sitting bbq place in a busy growing city, though, the food is hittin.

I liked this place. I NEVERRRRR like Plantain, as always... but these were the most tasty, tasty plantain I had!!! Better than authentic, cooked in Jamaica! The shrimp-po-boy was spicy and absolutely skurril! I'll come back to try some more articles. The two guys in the restaurant were pleasant and they played great music from the 90s!

At first when I looked at the menu, I saw shrimps and crabs and was skeptical. I went with the shrimp poboy and my wife got the shrimp salad bowl. After ordering a bit naked I was given a little sauce in the last minute. The facility is well maintained, free from clutter and chaos. The minute I entered the sandwich, I knew these shrimps were fresh and cooked for perfection! The bread on which it was, was roasted and very tasty. It was a bit difficult to pick up with all the SHRIMP and trust me, that's not a bad thing. After our feedback about the meal, the employee explained everything I needed to hear. They started from a food truck in DC. Many of these food trucks have amazing food and finally bringing it to a brick and mortar shop is great. I will be back and I hope that people will give this place a chance, because prices can intimidate a little if you look at the menu, but if the food is quality, people will love this place like the USA! If I could make a recommendation, get Iceberg for your po guys and maybe offer you a role with all these SHRIMP! We're coming back and SOON!

Today was my first time here I ordered the Catfush, Shrimp and Grits. It was excellent, i tasted the potato salad and had to order it, i also ordered the baked beans asked first if they were vegetarian no pork whatsoever, he said they were but I'm not convinced after tasting them. They certainly look like pork n beans. I pray that they weren't.

Try this place, trust me, you won't regret it! The food tastes great, but most importantly, it's fresh! And I mean fresh, they literally make it once you order!! My toddler enjoyed her shrimp dinner and she actually ate all of her broccoli!! That was enough to sell me! I've been back at least 4 times now and haven't ordered anything yet that I didn't like. I definitely recommend the sauces, our favorite is the yellow aji which has a little kick to it, but so flavorful!! I DEFINITELY recommend you give Nana's a try....It's hmmm hmmm delicious!
