I ordered the pepper steak and there was so many onions and barely any meat! My daughter got chicken lol mein and it was so oily and no flavor! The only good part of the dinner was the egg roll. Smh. Neither of us finished our food and it's going in the garbage. For $30 for 2 dinners and walking away hungry. Never will we eat here again.
We ate inside today , was surprised they had dine in service. Both of our lunch combos were great . Excellent Won Ton soup , about the best I’ve ever had . My Gai Kow and her Chicken with Cashews were very good , plenty of chicken and vegetables , the fried rice was tasty and moist and the egg rolls were also very good . Our waitress was efficient and friendly . The only thing not perfect was the lunch combo prices , they use to be around 8.99 last year , today they are 12.99
I have been coming to Ping On for at least a decade. Best in town! The food is always hot and fresh, I don't care how long the wait may be-always worth it. The portion sizes are huge! The sesame chicken meal will be three servings of food, the chicken is still crispy even with the sauce on it. The wonton soup has the best flavor, the broth is so flavorful, there is definitely a more noodle to filling ratio. The rice is always perfectly cooked. I know it may sound strange, but even my cats love the white rice, they see us come in with the take out bags and can't wait for rice!
Now I know why I stopped going here. I ordered pepper steak with an extra side of the brown gravy/sauce. Got home .... don't know what that stuff was they gave me in the bowl. Look and tasted horrible. The meat in the pepper steak had a lot of gristle and spit quite a bit of it out. I'll stick to my go to place, New Great Wall from now on and drive the couple extra miles.....
Great restaurant great food. would be the distance to eat in the food, but otherwise travel too far. are you ever opening up for indoor eating?
