Cariboo Lodge - Clinton

When the restaurant side is open during the summer, the service is fantastic. During the winter when only the pub is open, depending who's working, be ready for a long wait while staff ignores you for several minutes before they even consider approaching you. I walked out of the pub side after a table that came in 10 minutes after me was given menus before the waitress ever came to my table. The quality of the staff working each side of the establishment differs immensely.

I didn 't stay in a room I just stopped here for lunch on a tuesday. BREAKFAST ENDS AT 11!! No exceptions the server made that VERY CLEAR as her greeting lol. The food wasn 't anything to wrote home about. The typical small town restaurant, shipped in pre-made on a food truck, and prepped. The prep was good, but again nothing great or special. I had a veggie burger (and paid the 2.50 for mushrooms, onions, and cheese). It wasn 't bad bit not quite worth the cost in my opinion. The extras on the burger, for the quantity and quality got, the 2.50 wasn 't worth it. Definitely not enough pickles when all I saw was 2 see through slices of dilly. The reason I ate here, and loved going here is, like most people passing through, Is because I love the decor, the rustic vibe, and the history on display. Clinton is a great little town to walk around and check out, ans the inn seems great to take it all in, but the food was not bad or good... it was just meh

Very friendly staff. Treated the whole family very nice, allowing us to combine tables and allowed the kids in for dinner, we were in the pub. Rooms are basic but there is satellite TV, beds are ok. Rustic look, very cute. Service: 5

Really clean rooms, beds nice, a/c, bob ross on tv, nice big balconies with tables and chairs for a slow morning. Didn’t check out the pub but the meals were all very meat based (standard, not a negative, we went to Chinese down the street instead). Good water pressure/temp etc. Quiet and easy check in/out. Service: 5

Love the area, booked a stay at this place on our trip through British Columbia Canada. Nice that it has a restaurant and bar so that we don't have to leave the establishment in search of food and something to drink. The staff is accommodating and friendly. As always, leave it better than you found it, and enjoy . Service: 5
