napoli centrale - Cluj-Napoca

This was the 2nd time trip to Cluj in this restaurant. For the first time we were told about the Hampton Inn people on the street to check it out. I have booked the Hotel JUST specifically so I can eat a pizza here again. I would dare to say that I have a higher knowledge and respect for Neapolitan hot wood stove pizza, as I myself bought a significant pizza oven, studied several dough recipes during the pandemic and to Italy regularly etc. This place in Romania! not known for any pizza, blows some of the best Italian restaurants in Italy or USA. The dough is perfect! It is soft and chewing, and everything super fresh. I ordered the level, no meat, Margherita and it was perfect! The staff, very nice most girls and very welcoming. This trip, I was 'solo' and so I didn't order a pasta court, but I can also say that my son and I had a pasta court also, shockingly good! Shocking because you would never expect such good authentic Italian style food outside Italy, but it is! If I had to mention a very small thing, it is that they could put more fresh basil on their head. I could have asked more, but no, I inhaled the whole thing in a few seconds. Nevertheless, I am grateful NOT to have pizza like this near me USA or I would gain so much weight!!

If you like pizza, and I mean real pizza from Napoli, this is the place to go. My compliments to the chef. it was more than lunch. It was an experience! Cudos to the staf and for the cleanliness! I'm sure to return!

Has a good reputation so I was surprised to be served 50% stone cold vegetables with my t-bone steak, which was otherwise ok. can't fault the friendly efficient service, but if the chef can't put out hot vegetables (I mean some were warm, others literally stone cold, like from a fridge) either he/she is incompetent or doesn't care. Not recommended unless you have a high tolerance for that kind of thing!

Over in Cluj for a few days and this pizzeria kept popping up as somewhere I should try. Service was brilliant and staff were wonderful. Really good value and i think it's the best pizza I've ever eaten-the dough was so soft and stringy almost like mozzarella. These guys are doing a great job! Please visit for real pizza!

Very good pizza and pasta, the best we had for a long time. And the service was amazing as well. Very good experience, we’ll come back.
