The food prices are very good. Beverage, like in any other restaurant, is...more expensive. Try the house wine: you will only find it at this restaurant and it's OK. Don’t leave before trying a papanas (read with “sh” at the end): it is very big and very, very tasty.
If you want to savor a tasty Romanian dish I recommend this restaurant. Serving is very fast. The restaurant offers a wide range of soups and other local dishes.
It was a great experience good food for a low price! a recomandation for all who eat here once!
A rewarding restaurant serving traditional Romanian cuisine. A varied menu with delicious food. The portions were large and the staff was very friendly!
After visiting this restaurant last year we decided to dine here again. We really do not wish. Although the service was good (there was only another table), the food really leaves this place down. First, we ordered a wine (Feteasca Neagra) that... we later found out that they had only one type that was three times as the house one. Secondly, red wine should not be served from a refrigerator!! That's basic knowledge! You just have to read the bottle! We order 3 ciorba de burtas which was quietly beautiful, but not the best we had. The problem was when the mixed plate arrived for two... Cold potatoes, frozen sarmale and hatch warm meat. Now I can knock cold meat, but cold meat is another story. We complained to the waitress and she seemed to argue that the food was all freshly cooked until we placed the sarmals in her hand and she felt it. She offered us another record or dessert, but we refused - our last night in Cluj had been wiped enough. From a restaurant manager and a cook come, the owners of Boierul have to do something. They have a nice restaurant, good location and staff who need a little polishing and they will be perfect! But please, do not offer food or beverages that you do not store, have a serious look at what you offer to customers - would the cook eat the food you serve? And do something about it, or this restaurant will not survive.
