Sushi Yi is a familiar friend-run takeout sushi restaurant. They have been open for some time without much support, which is regrettable. Today, after 6 pm, dining in is prohibited, so we came to try their offerings.
I came here specifically to try the sushi. I originally wanted to try the $195 sushi set, but the chef honestly informed me that some of the fish was not available from Japan, so they were not selling it. I opted for the $115 special selection set instead. The quality was good! Better than chain sushi restaurants. For example, the squid didn't taste like plastic, the sweet shrimp and fish were very fresh, and the rice was firm and didn't fall apart when picked up. I think the restaurant focuses mainly on takeout. The restaurant is on the smaller side.
The food was fantastic!
