Chateau Acropole - Coaticook

Food was typical Greek food, like you would get at Casa Grecque, but better. There is also a kids menu. The place was loaded. It was a Saturday night before an autumn night before Foresta Lumina event. The only bad thing was the other customers that were so loud we couldn't talk.

The service is excellent The food on the other hand nothing greek not even the iceberg salad I asked for a greek salad instead of a ceasar salad there was a 5 dollar surplus and was delivered without any dressing iceberg salad cubed onions as opposed to the traditional presentation very disappointing and cheap Sadly suggested they should add a pikalia plate anything greek to their menu was told that the menu hasn’t changed in 30 some years and they have clients regardless ? needless to say I will not be returning or recommending to anyone

Best description is Greek cuisine meets small town french palette. Spaghetti sauce was oddly so sweet. Avoid hors d'ouvres at all costs, they are breaded mass produced like you would find in the frozen aisle at a grocery store. Stick with the gyros chicken which were decent. If you are spoiled for choice from big city dinning you will not find it here. Over priced for what you get. Staff is accommodating and friendly though.

First time I was in Coaticook after a bike trip in the region, I was looking for a little more than fast food but nothing fancy. Restaurant looked ok from outside, nice exterior terrace with tables. Was alone, got one table for two outside. Ordered BBQ chicken, but waitress told me that they didn't have anymore so I switched to small pizza all-dressed and a draft beer. Beer came in first and pizza came in quick a little later. Like most of us, I'm a fan of pizza and this done didn't deceive me the least. I especially liked the tomato sauce. There was a lot of cheese, and the crust was superbly cooked, slightly crusty, tender, and fluffy. Honestly, I would go back anytime. And the price was very reasonnable, no surprise there. I was satisfied with my whole experience.

Good staff, and good food.I will personally recommend trying their desert.
