Maddie's Cafe Coffee Shop - Cobar

A good alternative to your typical country town pubs. Setup is basic and service is friendly and prompt. We ordered their steak sandwich which is awesome and great value at $7. Don’t bother with the fries as it’s tasteless. They should change the potatoes to more flavoursome type. Coffee too is not much good either. Go for the steak sandwich.

So refreshing to find real food (fresh food) on a road trip. Coffee was great as were the staff.

Everytime my wife and I are driving from Dubbo to Broken Hill, we have our stop in Cobar. Maddies Cafe is the one that save us. Always with a smile in their faces and very friendly, it's a good stop to have a fast lunch. If you want a steak sandwich or a fish n' chips, they have it. :

What a great litte coffee shop. Dropped in on the way to Broken Hll on the recommendation from a local and wasn't disappointed. Great place to to let Rosie and Zinar out for stretch and take a break. Fiendly staff and yummy food. #thedoghighway
