The Gull's Nest Restaurant - Coboconk

The name of this restaurant is a bit confusing, says Rosies Dockside Restaurant on Facebook, where I was told to watch when I called the place that it says the Gull's Nest Restaurant on the building? Anyway, we knew it was a... restaurant with a beautiful view of the river. A lot to see. The outdoor terrace is simple but beautiful. My wife had the Mediterranean omelet and I had the classic breakfast. Really enjoyed it all for $21. We come back wherever they call this place:

That was a stop on the way home, for us. I saw good reviews of this restaurant and our whole family stayed for lunch. It was a bit confusing to read about online and in the parking lot, because this location seems to have...3 Names: Gull's Nest Restaurant, Rosie's Dockside Bar and Grill and Dockside Restaurant Bar Grill. Anyway his name, this restaurant in 11 Albert St. is great. We sat on the terrace overlooking the river. The menu is huge, and there is something for everyone! Service was friendly and thorough. Nowadays I find that it is rare to be asked if you need anything else, or if everything is okay, because servers are so fast everywhere. But here we were asked several times when we needed something else, and the waitress took the time to wait and be sure. The food (fish and chips, caesar salad, pancakes, bacon and toast) was all delicious. I would definitely go back if I were back in the area. I could even think about returning to Coboconk just because this restaurant, as much as we liked it.

Great Lil Square. Great service. Good food. Nice atmosphere. Great value. It's been and will go again.

We went by here for breakfast with the family. This is a fun place to boat when you have a cottage by the lake. There was a nice selection of dishes. I had the veggie omelet, toast and coffee at a reasonable price. Beautiful terrace in summer.

We went for lunch with 4 adults and 3 kids. We got ourselves menus after waiting more than 5-10mins. I assumed we would have gotten them when we came in or shortly after. There were only 5 tables of people, so not busy. Took over...45 mins to receive our meals. Food was nothing special. They were out of home fries so we all got overcooked fries. Needless to say I won't be back.
